  • Samantha Roddick

B.A. hons, PGCE – qualified teacher with specialism in ages 2-9 years.

Having worked locally for 12 years as a primary school teacher with Early Years expertise, I decided 8 years ago to be brave and open my own nursery school which would incorporate all my idealogies and interests in the learning and development of young children. Having a lively 11 year old son keeps me extremely busy and much of my social life involves rushing to and from swimming lessons, tennis lessons and standing at the side of freezing cold football pitches on a Sunday morning! My hobbies include going to the theatre – a real passion of mine, eating out (no cooking – hurray!), woodland walks and having lazy coffees with friends (a rare treat). Coming to work each day is an absolute joy because I’m doing something I love and am excited by, surrounded by a hand-picked team who are not just colleagues but friends as well.
